Financial Assistance
Most postgraduate courses
do not normally receive funding from local authorities.
The main exceptions are postgraduate
diplomas
in Town Planning and Architecture. Students enrolled in
these two courses are eligible for funding through their
local
LEA.
Students starting a postgraduate College Education
course, not already working as teachers, are eligible
for a Training
Salary of up to £6,000, available to primary, secondary
and Key Stage 2/3 trainees in 2005 to 2005. This will all
be arranged automatically upon enrolment. The Local Education
Authority covers tuition fees.
