Exploring Pensions
A pension is basically a payment a person receives on a regular
basis. The amount paid is usually sufficient enough to at least
let the beneficiary subsist without needing any other source
of income. Different kinds of pension are available, varying
in requirements, benefits and entitlements. A pension provided
from the Government is known as State Pension.
Claiming your pension
You should receive a claim form when you are
four months away from reaching State Pension age. If the
claim form has not been sent to you yet and you are three
months away from State Pension age already, you will need
to get in touch with the nearest Pension Service office immediately.
