Frequently
asked questions
Q What should I do if I
lose my share certificate?
A If you lose your certificate, or
if they are stolen or destroyed, you need to arrange for
duplicates to be issued from the
Registrar of the company that issued you the original
certificate. Your contact information as well as the number
of shares
you own is recorded by the company’s Registrar
when you purchase their shares.
Q What
do I need to do if I want to transfer my shares
to someone else?
A In order to transfer your stock certificates
to another party, you need to first return the certificate
to
the issuing company’s
Registrar, along with a stock transfer form.
